Stephen is a proud Eagle Scout. After Stephen received his Eagle Scout, he was awarded a Palm. A Palm is awarded when a scout has demonstrated the Scout spirit, leadership and ability and has earned five additional merit badges beyond those required for Eagle. Stephen was able to demonstrate his gratitude and give back to scouting by becoming an assistant Scout leader.

Stephen enjoys working with the youth in his community. This has included being an assistant little league football coach, as well as a speed and agility trainer.  Stephen is proud of the youth he has been privileged to help – some of whom have excelled and moved into starting quarterback positions, line positions and defensive back positions at the high school level.

Stephen’s most rewarding life experience was being a caregiver for both of his elderly parents.  Stephen was one of the main caregivers for his father for 10 years until his passing in 2001.  After the passing of his father, his mother moved in with him and his family for several years until her passing in 2013.  He considers it an honor and privilege for the opportunity to have taken care of his parents.
