Jennifer Fuller

Sr. Program Officer, Sojourns
“My professional interest in aging is a direct result of observing my mother, a nurse who worked in long term care. I spent a good part of my youth hanging out in nursing homes and watching her provide what we today call “person-centered care.” My entire career has focused on improving the quality of life for elders. I bring this lens as well as a community health background and “we’re in this together” perspective to my work at Cambia.”

Jennifer Fuller is a Sr. Program Officer for the Cambia Health Foundation’s Sojourns area of investments, which purposefully invests to advance access, awareness and quality palliative care for those with serious chronic illness across the nation. She oversees grants and initiatives regionally and nationally, including the foundation’s signature program, the Sojourns Scholars Leadership Program.

Prior to joining Cambia Health Foundation, Jennifer spent 6 years at the Northwest Health Foundation as the Associate Director for the Partners Investing in Nursing’s Future (PIN) program, a RWJF multi-year national initiative to support the capacity, involvement and leadership of local foundations to advance the nursing profession in their communities. Before joining the philanthropy world, for 10+ years Jennifer worked primarily in the non-profit sector at various community-based organizations that serve aging individuals and caregivers. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from Portland State University (2001) and a Bachelor of Science and certificate of gerontology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio (1995).

Jennifer is an active member of Grantmakers in Aging and currently serves on the board of Store to Door, a non-profit that supports independent living for Portland area seniors and people with disabilities by providing an affordable, personal, volunteer-based grocery shopping and delivery service.
